The Manager, HRIS provides leadership and support for the entire organization with effective Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) enabling leaders to deliver business results and build a high-performance culture. This position supports Human Resources (HR) and internal business partners with timely, accurate, and insightful information on talent by providing the appropriate process, tools, support, and metrics. The Manager leads a team of HRIS Analysts and System Admins, partners with an analyst team who work with internal clients to define information requirements and develop solutions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Estimated % of Time Spent
Manage analysis, development, configuration, and operation of HR Systems. Lead Implementation of new systems.
Own the development of the overall strategic plan for HR systems by partnering with business leaders in Talent Development, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Compensation, Learning and Development to ensure the systems are meeting their expectations.
Follow up with project sub-teams to ensure they are meeting their timelines and deliverables.
Serve as a "point person" for the business on HRIS-related project requests, helping to prioritize, develop and refine business requirements, analyze ROI, and assign appropriate resources.
Ensure that all projects are delivering on their stated objectives while remaining on time and on budget.
Evaluate functionalities of HRMS that may not be activated/owned today, and recommend solutions that meet business need while fitting into overall HR & financial strategies.
Co-lead with IT the upgrade or implementation of any new supplementary systems.
Partner with IT to troubleshoot and correct system or process issues.
Continually monitor processes and develop appropriate metrics to reflect accuracy and efficiency.
Oversee the HRIS function to ensure work is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Select, evaluate, and reward the performance of all direct reports. Ensure staff receives on-going training.
Promote a constructive work environment; organize staff to accomplish work and meet business demands and encourage initiative and risk taking.
Develop annual department and project budgets with monthly P&L review; identify variances and take corrective actions as appropriate.

Lead the ongoing management and improvement efforts for existing HR Systems.
Lead and coordinate efforts focused on specific system functionality (e.g., Learning Management System, Performance Management Process, Talent Review & Succession Planning).
Provide insight on how to best improve and configure the system and utilize tools by drawing from best practices, industry trends, and personal experience with similar systems.
Work closely with the IT function to establish and maintain data migration paths, integration points, and protocols for dealing with exceptions and errors.
Look for opportunities for continuous improvements and timely rollout of system upgrades and enhancements.
Project manage portions of the overall work, e.g. business requirements around vendor selection, redesign of interfaces and internal processes, implementation of a new systems, etc.
As part of the global HR team, effectively communicate changes, benefits and challenges of new systems and programs to be a credible resource for explaining technical information.
Build relationships both internal to HR and within other internal organizations to be able to navigate for resources.
Effectively manage and partner with vendors providing HR system services to 24HF.
Participate and provide leadership to other change management projects across the business as assigned.
Oversees HR technology utilization to drive business strategies across the organization.
Manages the technical configuration of talent suites: learning, performance management.
Supervises the systems HRIS team, managing goals, development and performance.
Designs, implements and delivers effective solutions for human resources.
Oversees development of standardized processes; evaluates current processes and makes adjustment as needed. 20%
Manage the company's HR reporting needs and support HR effectiveness.
Responsible for developing HR scorecard strategy and tactics. Work cross-functionally with HR leadership on functional design and implementation.
Provide on-going HR functional reporting support and analysis. Identify trends and create additional reporting if necessary.
Monitor "ad hoc" and ongoing requests for people-related data to ensure that the workload is appropriate and that the reports are meeting the business' needs.
Delegate and supervise the creation of ad hoc custom reports based on HR and other departments' needs.
Use prior experience and best practices to suggest new reports that may be of interest to management.
Assure accuracy of all reported data coming out of HRIS systems.
Partner with HR leaders to continually refine and improve HR processes in order to maximize efficiency, cost savings and enable new HR initiatives.
This position will report to the Sr. Director Compensation & HRIS, Talent Management Systems. Will directly manage a team of 3-5 including HRIS Analysts and System Analysts. Primary relationships with the Talent Development team, and key business partners in IT, Compensation, Benefits, HR Operations, Staffing, Payroll and Finance. Communication is focused on understanding business needs, reporting data and explaining the data's relevance to the business.

Strong knowledge in PeopleSoft, Oracle, Pro Business, ADP Vantage or equivalent payroll suite.

Minimum Educational Level/Certifications
- High School diploma or General Educational Development (G.E.D.).
Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications
6+years of experience developing, implementing, and continuously improving tools/process in a multi-unit retail/fitness or related business.
Experience leading and directly managing teams, supervising project teams, and partnering with cross-functional leaders and other business functions.
Physical Demands/ Environmental Conditions
Must be able to sit and work on a computer for extended periods of time.
Must be able to work extended hours on occasion.
Indoor office environment.
- May need to travel by air on occasion (<10 days per year).
