The Regional Fitness Specialist supports field and club leaders to execute company aligned fitness strategies to support growth and success of all fitness offerings for the assigned regional territory. Serves as a subject matter expert to provide consultative guidance to districts/clubs on staffing strategies for PT and GX positions and advises districts/clubs on optimizing scheduling, fitness offerings, etc. to increase member participation in fitness programming.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

Regional Fitness Support
In partnership with district leaders, executes fitness program strategies to increase member participation in various fitness offerings (PT, group classes, small group, fitness innovations, etc.).
Serve as a consultant for club fitness leaders to help with development of technical fitness skills and competencies to deliver successful business results, club openings and increase team engagement.
Work cross-functional with other fitness teams or departments to implement, manage and maximize fitness initiatives.
Helps clubs achieve optimal staffing levels (GX and PT) for clubs in region by executing the regional fitness strategy.
Manage regional development programs for PT and GX team members through program learning process for vendor certification and training programs (scholarships).
Works with field district and club leaders to coordinate area hiring events, such as group auditions, job fairs, etc.
Work with business partners at club/district level to create localized plans to drive increased fitness program utilization.
Support company-wide fitness events by helping clubs to create staffing strategies to increase participation and guest traffic.
"Key Accountability" #2: Administrative Duties
Support clubs to ensure timely fulfillment of fitness equipment orders.
Coordinate communication per area to keep GXIs informed on company changes, initiatives, etc.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Reports to the Regional Fitness Manager and will interact with various levels of club and field management.

Minimum Educational Level/Certifications
§ National certification in fitness, personal training or group exercise
§ Bachelor's Degree preferred
Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications
§ 3+ years of progressive experience in a large multi-unit operation or fitness management.
§ Experience working in the fitness industry preferred
Physical Demands/ Environmental Conditions
§ May be required to work at a computer or on the phone for extended periods.
§ Must be able to work extended hours (weekends, evenings) on occasion.
§ Must be able to sit, stand and walk for up to 8 hours a day.
- Availability to travel 60% via car and plane.
