This position is responsible for coordination of all social media engagement on behalf of 24 Hour Fitness. Responsibilities include managing customer support on all social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram), being a brand advocate with organic engagement on our social media platforms, curating content, and managing the social media influencer program. This individual helps develop and drive the company's social media strategy and analytical reporting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

Social Media Influencer Program - 40%

  • Manage current and new influencers, including but not limited to, contract process, post confirmation, engagement rates, and data.

  • Engage with people on social media platforms in order to develop and grow our program

  • Develop new influencer partnerships based on metrics and needs of the business

  • Provide strategic social media influencer strategy on influencer program for external and internal influencers

Day-to-Day Customer Support & Engagement - 40%

  • Manage and grow our online social media universe.

  • Execute integrated social media campaigns on corporate social media channels -- including content planning, story ideation, content curation and production and publication -- to drive engagement and action.

  • Manage corporate social media mailboxes

  • Work closely with Marketing, PR, Member Services, Group Exercise, Digital and Innovation, and Fitness teams on content and organic tactics

  • Maintain centralized guide/resources for new and experienced page administrators.

  • Establish and spread best practices in social media engagement throughout our organization to key individuals such as General Managers and Member Services.

  • Be a brand advocate promoting the 24 Hour Fitness brand throughout the social universe.

  • Develop and expand the organization's online communities and outreach efforts.

  • Engage on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram with followers and potential followers to build a social network and social community

  • Engage with followers on our social media platforms to find user generated content

  • Identify threats and opportunities in online user generated content surrounding the company's brand and business

  • Report notable threats to appropriate management

  • Identify social media trends, trending topics and relevant opportunities for visibility tied to the company's programs and mission.

Measurement & Reporting - 10%

  • Develop and design actionable reporting.

  • Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of content campaigns and community engagement; use insights from social media management tools and data to inform future activity.

  • Work with field leaders on field reporting for field leaders (RVPs, DMs, and GMs), the GX team, 24GO team and more.

  • Understand social KPIs to make sure reporting is accurate and up-to-date to allow for proper reporting.

Strategy - 10%

  • Provide social platform insights to support paid campaign strategy and execution.

  • Researches new advertising opportunities on existing platforms and new social media properties.

  • Monitors and reports on best practice/ways to integrate social media into business strategies and marketing campaigns.

  • Provide strategic social media strategy and counsel to our partner business units (Fitness and Group X) in effective social communication.

  • Develop a strategic implementation plan for year-round social media campaign promotion.

Position works with different levels of employees within the organization. Internally, the Specialist develops collaborative relationships among peers, cross functional counterparts, and team members in the field. This position often builds business relationships with several outside organizations.

  • Thorough understanding of and expert-level user of all social media technologies.

  • Familiar with and able to use Sprinklr, Facebook Ads Manager and Twitter's advertising platform to publish and manage content and campaigns.

Minimum Educational Level/Certifications

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree -- preferred in Marketing

Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience with social media content production, campaign execution and community management in a business environment.

  • 3+ years experience working with creative teams and managing multi-tactic social media projects

  • Experience creating and meeting project timelines for multiple assignments.
