JOB SUMMARY -
The Fitness Program Design and Developer uses technical knowledge to design or improve existing fitness product lines, including individual, small or group training programs. Responsible for designing program content and education designed to improve the quality of fitness programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

Fitness Program Design
Works closely with corporate fitness and program vendors to architect and refine new fitness product concepts.
Develops differentiated, safe and effective workout programs, prioritizing member experience and workout solutions.
Conducts market research to identify new or enhanced fitness program opportunities.
Works in partnership with cross-functional teams to conceptualize ideas, develop actionable designs, test concepts and propose alternative solutions.
Measure success for each program and implement key learnings through test pilots and launches.
Updates existing fitness programs as needed to improve performance.
Serve as subject matter expert and primary technical fitness resource for internal and external requests.
Maintains awareness of member behavior, market trends and competitive landscape.
Fitness Program Development
In partnership with corporate fitness, fitness vendors and learning and development, create new training content for new and existing programs.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to strategize and develop fitness education structure for scale and overall sustainability.
Analyze metrics and end user feedback to gauge program effectiveness and modify accordingly.
Co-create and deliver e-learning courses, workshops and other trainings.
Manage fitness learning content and update as needed.
Performs miscellaneous duties as necessary.
Reports to the Director, Fitness Program Development and does not have any direct reports.

Minimum Educational Level/Certifications
§ National certification in fitness, personal training or group exercise
§ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications
§ 3+ years of work experience, ideally in a fitness design or development role with experience creating large scale fitness programming.
§ Experience managing product implementation.
§ Project management.
Physical Demands/ Environmental Conditions
§ May be required to work at a computer or on the phone for extended periods.
§ Regularly required to sit for long periods of time and occasionally stand and walk.
- Potential travel to club and regional offices 15% of the time.
