JOB SUMMARY

The Contracts Coordinator performs administrative and project management tasks necessary to support and assist the Contract Administrator, Corporate Counsel and Sr. Corporate Counsel in the receipt, processing and filing of commercial contract requests and commercial contracts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES Estimated % of Time Spent

Primary Responsibility

  • Under the direction of Contract Administrator, responsible for the receipt, processing and transmission of commercial contract requests from the company's business units.

  • Transmission of contract requests to Corporate Counsel and Sr. Corporate Counsel, and for providing administrative assistance to those attorneys.

  • Interaction with all of the company's business units with respect to their contract requests, and the processing of those requests (including status, correction of request deficiencies, signature processing).

  • Interaction with outside vendors regarding contract processing (including obtaining contract documents and signatures).

  • Obtaining internal approvals signatures upon completed commercial contracts.

  • Administering the company's Contracts Policy.

  • Electronic and hard-copy filing of completed commercial contracts.

  • Assisting Contract Administrator with the operation and maintenance of the company's electronic contract management system.

  • Assisting Contract Administrator with reporting regarding contracts, contract status, and workflow.

  • Maintenance of database of contract forms.

  • Complete additional administrative tasks and special projects as assigned. 100%

This person has no direct reports. This person works with the Legal Department, other internal departments, and outside vendors.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and other computer systems.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and ability to work well with others.

  • Communicates clearly in oral and written form.

  • Ability to work independently once give clear direction: good interpersonal skills.

Minimum Educational Level/Certifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
