The Corporate Account Executive is responsible for establishing new corporate accounts, renewing existing accounts and activating these accounts to maximize New EFT Set Up's. The goal is to build unique corporate relationships that encourage corporate employee populations to purchase memberships online, during on sites, and in club. The Corporate Account executive will improve incremental New EFT Set Up's and revenue that grow profit margins and dues tap in the corporate sales channel. This position will be actively involved by partnering with the club membership sales teams and Account Managers to optimize account activation through New EFT Set Up.


  1. Sales and Production
  • Responsible for corporate subsidy/cert/pass revenue and corporate EFT production for their portfolio of accounts and within their target market area.

  • Responsible for continuous lead generation and prospecting efforts both personally and in conjunction with the in club teams that lead to meeting and exceeding monthly new account opening targets. Prospecting efforts include: in person business to business field visits as well as telemarketing.

  • Meet minimum monthly account opening targets through lead generation and follow- up, as well as creating and presenting compelling business proposals for prospective clients.

  • Develop and close subsidized and "Company Sponsored" accounts to meet sales goals. Determine the correct product for the client based on the company rate card.

  • Develop and drive profitable long term business relationships and partnerships with corporations, municipalities and other identified entities that result in a robust and profitable business account portfolio.

  • Maximize employee enrollments with corporate accounts to drive EFT sign ups through proactive and ongoing joint marketing efforts.

  • Work regularly with Account Managers to ensure the servicing of existing accounts through continuous outreach that leads to additional new EFT set up.

  • Collaborate with District Manager and club teams to market the club through community outreach, local public relations efforts, and corporate on sites.

  • Maintain a working knowledge of local media and other advertising avenues and offer micro-marketing suggestions to the District Manager and Director Corporate Group Sales.

  • Attain and maintain a working knowledge of all local competitor facilities, sales, marketing and pricing strategies and update Director Corporate Group Sales as needed.

  1. Administration
  • Attend and contribute to required Regional and Corporate Group Sales team meetings.

  • Perform miscellaneous administrative duties as necessary.

  • Complete all necessary administrative processing associated with new corporate accounts.

  • Utilize company sales management tools to track and document sales efforts.

  • In partnership with Corporate and Field Sales, develop local marketing programs and complete materials/documents/tools to support local sales/marketing efforts.

  • Proven sales leaders with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.

  • Ability to implement external marketing strategies to influence the various corporate communities

  • Recent in-club sales and/or management experience.

  • Proven ability to use company systems and processes to achieve, document and track sales goals and results.

  • Strong initiative, assertiveness and communication skills; which translates into the ability to train and motivate club leaders and front-line team members.

  • Ability to work effectively and productively with minimal supervision.

  • Goal oriented and a team player.

  • Ability to multi-task.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to represent self well professionally in a business environment with C level clients.

  • Ability to work in fast paced growth environment.

  • Proficient in MS Office skills.

Minimum Educational Level/Certifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in sales or

  • 1+ years of experience as a Membership Manager, Fitness Manager, Club Manager, or above club position.

Physical Demands/ Environmental Conditions

  • Ability to travel domestically between different club and external business locations and meeting sites.

  • Ability to work extended hours and hours outside of normal business hours as necessary.

  • Ability to operate standard business equipment.

Travel Requirement

  • Travel will be required up to 100% of the time.
