The Sr. Storyteller & Copywriter leads and contributes all creative writing, scriptwriting, proprietary articles, storyboard, newsletter and needs for Studio24 and provides editorial and content expertise to 24Life. Reports to the Director of Content and Media. This role is responsible for development and delivery of original ideas, concepts and producing original works for digital and editorial deliverables with minimal oversight from the content and production team. The Sr. Storyteller & Copywriter is an integral member of a cross functional team dedicated to creating content and creative assets that add value to the brand and enhance product strategy and the creative vision.
Duties & Responsibilities
Storyboarding and Scripting Videos, Digital Experiences and Stories
Using expertise creates original concepts, storyboards and scripts for proprietary editorial and digital productions.
Offer expert direction and advise to the production and content teams to determine story needs for digital and editorial experiences.
Write and develop creative briefs and production scripts for digital and live experiences.
Create scripts, interview questions and talking points for editorial and brand productions.
Deliver creative expertise to the production team and content team for ideation and development for new content franchises, formats and productions.
Conceive and develop original content series and informational products from concept to delivery.
Creative Writing for, Editorial, Program and Product needs
to write original works and narratives (using creative craft, understanding of platforms and grasp of culture) directed to entertain and educate and create signature 24 brands experiences.
Write original content and narrative scripts for commercials, podcasts, radio segments, social and other programming productions.
Develop and write signature, proprietary original signature content for the library of 4 Pillar lifestyle tips.
Manage creative process including final review of digital and editorial content.
Development of Signature Brand Experiences
Support production and content team to create cohesive and compelling digital and editorial brand experiences and original content series.
Create and develop the signature voice and tone of the branded audio experience and brand voice for 24Life, 24Go and Studio 24 productions
Conceive, research and write signature original content offerings ranging from newsletters, freemiums and whitepapers to other research reports, magazine-style cover stories and social campaigns.
The Senior Storyteller delivers expert creative writing to members of the production team, content team, marketing and social media throughout the creative/production process to maintain the highest level of creativity and accuracy with regard to brand guidelines, editorial objectives and production goals. Interacts with vendors, talent and contractors to provide digital files and ensure scripts and creative works and writing assignments are completed accurately and timely. Must work in cooperation with content and production team members and directly involved in strategy as well as design/production. This position will report to the Director of Content and Media and has no direct reports.

Understand and use the science and psychology behind storytelling, copywriting and scripting.
Proven ability to deliver consistent brand experiences through execution of editorial and visual style guides.
Proven ability to develop and maintain a brand voice that integrates a company's core brand values and emotions across all media.
Demonstrates best practice in copywriting, storytelling including active voice, near-flawless copy and use of AP Style.
Familiarity with subjects including positive psychology, organizational behavior, human performance, and the brain sciences and best research practices.
Ability to write and create high quality work in a fast moving, dynamic and collaborative work environment.
Ability to manage time effectively to meet the demands of multiple jobs on short deadline.
Familiarity with video production experience
Able to annotate references in accordance to the AMA style guide with strong fact-checking skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office with knowledge of Adobe CS5.5
Minimum Educational Level/Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in literature or writing, media broadcast or communications.
Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications
5 yrs. experience as a copywriter or writer in a health, fitness, wellness brand or advertising and media agency
Experience Writing for print and digital ads; TV and radio; blogs; marketing collateral; concepting; naming; taglines, etc.
Experience writing creative briefs and delivering presentations.
Proven writing skills (technical/creative)
Experience writing diverse creative content for use across mediums, everything from social posts to video scripts to brand spots and commercials.
