As a Sales Manager (SM) you and your team generate revenue by creating excitement over goal attainment, enrolling members, and being in relationship with potential, new and existing members.

This position is a non-exempt position that provides a base hourly rate plus the potential to earn additional compensation and a monthly sales bonus once reaching a specified productivity threshold
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
Responsible for communicating and upholding company standards and leading by example for delivering an inviting, friendly and supportive experience our members and guests
Ensure that team members consistently execute the basics in punctuality, dress code friendliness and cleanliness
Hire, train and develop a strong team of Sales Advisors and/or Assistant Sales Managers who deliver on company goals and reflects its values
Responsible for the successful attainment of department targets
Lead and develop the Sales Advisor team and/or Assistant Sales Manager to increase club revenue with an emphasis on new club memberships and personal training
Lead the execution of national membership sales Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to provide a consistent 24 Hour Fitness experience for potential members & guests, and manages authorized sales and marketing promotion campaigns
Model the 24 Hour Fitness core values during his or her leadership, to ensure high-level member and team member satisfaction and exhibit behaviors that are in alignment with our vision of being passionate about inspiring and empowering our members to live fit and healthy lives
Prior management experience in service sales industry leading 4-10 employees preferred
1-2 years of experience as a top sales producer
Experience in fitness membership sales preferred
Proven Successful leadership skills
Certifications / Educational Requirements :
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor's degree is Preferred
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
Physical Requirements :
Ability to work in club office; move about club floors and rooms; review, revise, create club paperwork; communicate with employees, members, and the public.
Ability to access and operate Company computer system including prepare documents, enter data into computer system, read reports from a computer data base or e-mail system
Ability to communicate telephonically with members
Work Environment :
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts
The noise level in the environment is occasionally loud
Extended workdays are a frequent occurrence, as are weekends and holidays as needed to support the business
- Must be able to travel by car or plane up to 10% of time
