JOB SUMMARY
The manager is responsible for the overall operation, maintenance, and success of the Premium kickboxing
studio within 24 Hour Fitness location. It is a new offering of the small group boxing class based on well-known
methodology from one of the largest kickboxing brands and powered by 24 Hour Fitness and aimed
at engaging existing 24 Hour Fitness members on the new offering. The job will require completion of a 1
week training and certification by a well-known boxing brand,

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES Estimated % of Time Spent
Training
-Ensure personal attention is being provided by trainers during every workout
with high energy and with the ability to multitask, participate as necessary
-Coach classes according to shifts (appr. 10 hours a week)
-Ensure trainers are explaining and demonstrating exercises in a manner that
provides the best workout each and every time, while motivating members to
reach their personal fitness goals, participate as necessary

Membership/package sales
-Sell memberships for the premium offering to existing 24 Hour Fitness
members with a focus on total revenue brought in each month
-Achieve monthly sales goals established with 24 Hour Fitness leadership
-Personalized and engaging lead generation/re-generation from the 24 Hour
Fitness database / active members and follow up to convert prospects into
premium boxing studio members/clients
-Maintain excellent customer service with current members, follow up with them
to keep them engaged with the service

Operations
-Work closely with 24 Hour Fitness leadership to hire, properly train, and
motivate employees (boxing coaches)
-Drive the educational training, development, and performance review of
employees in a timely manner, and help facilitate the latest knowledge in the
fitness industry
-Conduct monthly team trainings/meetings and inform employees of all
marketing promotions and new policies, and provide guidance toward
achieving individual career and company goals
-Provide sales support and training to staff to maintain a high conversion rate
-Manage work schedule for all employees
-Ensure employees consistently execute the basics in punctuality, dress code
compliance, friendliness and cleanliness

-Maintain the security and safety of the studio space within 24 Hour Fitness
location, members, guests, and confidential information
-Ensure the boxing studio space is kept clean and all equipment organized and
in working order at all times
-Ensure all Opening & Closing Procedures are completed as scheduled and
outlined

-This position will support the onboarding, guidance and development of team members in the following

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Minimum Educational Level/Certifications
-High School diploma or General Educational Development (G.E.D.).
-Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification required
Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications
-Training experience for personal or group fitness
-Sales experience with demonstrated ability to drive sales and meet established goals
-Proven leadership ability in an educational, fitness or professional setting
Physical Demands/ Environmental Conditions
-While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for up to 8 hours. The
employee occasionally sits, walks, kneels and reaches with hands and arms.
-Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 45 lbs.
-While performing the duties of this job, regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
-The noise level in the environment is occasionally loud.
-Extended workdays are a frequent occurrence, as are weekends and holidays as needed to support the business.
Travel Requirement
-Some travel may be required to attend meetings and trainings.
