Responsible for researching, documenting and measuring Marketing opportunities, as well as helping to define Marketing solutions for business-critical processes. The Marketing Analyst, works directly with all levels of business partners, as well as vendors, to understand business needs and opportunities, and partners with them, as well as with internal IT, Ops and Marketing teams to design and implement solutions. The Marketing Analyst is also expected to assume project manager responsibilities as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Estimated % of Time Spent
Research and Analysis (50%)
provide strategic reporting, insights and analyses to be used in marketing projects.
Lead the analysis, development and prioritization of critical business improvement opportunities which drive increased business value.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned areas of the organization.
Employ quantitative and analytical techniques, synthesize all available marketing data, develop business insights, and help create integrated digital marketing strategies.
Provide fact-based analysis and recommendations
Apply strong data and statistical analysis and processing to guide marketing decisions and directions
Requirements and Design (50%)
Define the solutions to business problems jointly with partners and development teams.
Analyze and document the root cause of defects or production issues and manages the implementation of appropriate technology solutions.
Develop and own functional requirements for solutions.
Employ value metrics and analysis to properly prioritize and ensure timely delivery of solutions as the business requires.
Cross collaborate with creative, marketing, operations, app, website and related teams to drive product innovation and testing, share learnings & establish thought leadership
Support manager in development/evolution of digital vision, strategy, and roadmap
Identify ways to unlock value further upstream in our digital campaign planning, set-up, and optimization processes
Reports to the Director Marketing Technology. Interacts with all management levels of the organization and stakeholders. Interacts with third-party vendors. Has frequently communicated with other Analysts across the organization.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Demonstrated expertise in business process and data analysis.
Process flow development, analysis, and reengineering skills.
Native understanding, passion and curious about all of digital with an emphasis of web, mobile, SEO/SEM and paid social, and video.
Ability to conduct ad hoc queries as well as deeper data analytics using SQL, Business Intelligence and/or data visualization tools.
Eager to analyze, experiment, innovate.
Expertise with Microsoft Office suite of products.
Excellent problem-solving and logical analysis skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt message to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Excellent negotiation skills with both internal and external partners.
Ability to create and cultivate a network of partners to ensure success of the organization is critical.
Minimum Educational Level/Certifications
- Bachelor's degree.
Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications
- 2+ years relevant experience in marketing analytics for applications development, systems engineering and/or process engineering

May be required to work outside of typical business hours
- Occasional travel may be required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud, Snowflake, Power BI, REST APIs
Advanced degree (such as MBA or Masters in Statistics).
Degrees in Marketing, Business Administration, Econometrics, Statistics, Computer Science, or other relevant major.
