Working with key stakeholders and MarCom project managers, the Campaign Developer will use business and technical acumen to design, test and implement email and SMS Marketing campaigns. The Campaign Developer will work with Marketing Ops to activate integrations with other Adobe Enterprise Cloud tools (AEM and Analytics). The Campaign Developer will be the Data Steward for the Adobe Campaign data model, ensuring we have the necessary data to execute our communication plans.


Requirements and Design

  • Interact with internal and external peers and/or managers to exchange semi-complex information related to assigned activities.

  • Receive work in the form of unique campaign assignments that often require the application of independent judgment.

  • Work to gather and understand unique business requirements and translate into customized workflows.

  • Gather, document and help form/guide business requirements, key performance indicators and other functional and/or technical requirements.

  • Work with others to understand specifications around data and ensure data is available for campaigns. 50%

Testing and Implementation

  • Review key aspects of the campaign design, build and deployment processes to ensure optimal quality, including: campaign flow, channel selection, and touch-point timing.

  • Perform extensive testing and create queries to extract and validate segment data and sizing.

  • Troubleshoot and debug issues.

  • Track and monitor campaign results, and report status to the Project Manager. 50%

Reports to the Director, Media Technologies. Interacts with different management levels of the organization and stakeholders in Marketing and Operations. Works closely with the Marketing Operations team members.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • 3-5 years experience working with Adobe Campaign Standard, including workflows, transactional servers, API, file imports

  • Understanding of data security and privacy technologies

  • Experience with data design and database connectivity needs for overall application.

  • Understanding of direct marketing lingo (e.g. niche market, penetration ratio, segmentation, test design, control groups)

  • Ability to manage performance and scalability

  • Experience with a CDP, AEM and Analytics is a plus.

Minimum Educational Level/Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree.

Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience providing development and support with Adobe Campaign Standard.

Physical Demands/ Environmental Conditions

  • Temporary remote work may be required.

  • May be required to work outside of typical business hours

Travel Requirement

  • Occasional travel may be required.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • System integration experience: web services (Soap, Rest APIs), scripting languages

Educational Level/Certifications

  • Advanced degree (such as MBA or Masters in Statistics).

  • Degrees in Marketing, Business Administration, Econometrics, Statistics, Computer Science, or other relevant major.
