The Vice President, Corporate Group Sales and Club Media (VP CGS & Club Media) is responsible for driving new revenue by creating and executing market strategy around Corporate Group Sales, Club Media, and other sales channels. The VP, CGS & Club Media will have direct oversight to Corporate Group Sales and Club Media across all regions, ensuring that sales programs are designed specific to local marketing needs yet still within an overall branded corporate strategy. This position will lead sales strategies to drive corporate group membership and club media participation. The VP, CGS & Club Media will also be responsible for closing key corporate account deals nationally (?). This role will oversee Corporate Groups Sales and Club Media, and partner with field leaders and corporate departments on process and strategy implementation, while improving the sales experience for clients, guests and members.


  1. Sales Strategy, Development, Execution and Improvement
  • Lead development of short and long term company strategy and tactical plan for Corporate Group Sales and Club Media Sales

  • Put in place infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function

  • Work collaboratively with executive team and field leaders to ensure alignment and implementation of sales and unit growth strategy

  • Work closely with other departments to establish successful support, channel and partner programs

  • Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required

  • Oversee the documentation of the company sales process and continuously and proactively plan for and respond to changes in the business environment that leads to effective tactical and strategic plans that are successfully implemented

  • Benchmark other companies' strategies and tactics regarding people, process, and technologic trends to look for new innovations and opportunities to ensure the company is innovative and has world class strategies and process related to membership sales.

  • Manage the development of communications as needed to outline key membership focuses for the field organization

  • Lead development and initiatives for company sales planning tools for Corporate Group Sales and Club Media.

Minimum Educational Level/Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent.

Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive sales management experience.

  • 10+ years of successfully partnering with leaders to develop sales strategy and implementation of sales programs.

Physical Demands/ Environmental Conditions

  • This position will need to work in both an office and field settings, and must be able to work from both as well as travel between club and office locations nationally.

  • Ability to work extended hours as needed.

Travel Requirement

  • This position will be required to travel nationally up to 50% of time.
