The Consumer Insights Analyst is responsible for 1) analyzing consumer data and metrics, and reporting results to support key strategic initiatives in member experience and customer retention; 2) analyze and report of on-going consumer research, interpreting key trends and consumer behaviors to inform strategic marketing decisions and tactics.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES
1. Customer Research Analysis and Support Customer Insight Efforts
*Assist in VOC (Voice of customer) and ad-hoc survey platform, support survey related efforts from the customer and brand strategy perspective
*Analyze and study to learn member database and export data to internal and external partners
*Update and maintain monthly consumer insight reports and other ad hoc analysis/reporting as needed
*Create and/or support other quantitative analyses as directed
*Complete other quantitative analyses as directed.
2. On-going Member Research Efforts
*Analyze and study to learn company member demographics and behavior and apply knowledge to business objectives
*Track and report on effectiveness of key member experience initiatives
*Identify and summarize insights from customer research and other internal communication materials
*Recognize key trends and see developing trends in order to advise on trends and ensure current approaches align with objectives
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
*Experience working with large amount of data -- transform and interpret
*SQL or other language to extract data from data warehouse
*Propensity to learn new software for survey design (Qualtrics, Survey Monkey or similar)
*Proficient in Excel and Access
*Knowledge and exposure to relational databases
*Exposure to Business Intelligence Reporting
*Ability to apply logic to analyze and interpret data from various sources
*Ability to multitask
*Excellent verbal & written communication abilities
*Minimum Educational Level/Certifications
*Bachelor's degree in in business administration, marketing, social sciences, applied mathematics , economics or related field
Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications
*3 to 4 years' experience in a consumer research, qualitative and quantitative measurement, and analytics capacity.
*3 to 4 Years analyzing data from various sources, interpreting data and reporting results.
Physical Demands/ Environmental Conditions
*Extended working days and some weekend work may be required.
*Work is performed in a standard office environment.
